What it is

Single-use powder sachets that set used cooking oil solid once it has cooled, so it is easier to dispose of.

How it works

  1. Stir the contents of a sachet into the hot used oil.
  2. Stir thoroughly so the powder mixes with the oil.
  3. Let it cool until it sets, then dispose of it as local rules require.

How you can use it

  • Used frying oil after deep-frying.
  • Leftover oil from pans and roasting tins.
  • Small batches of household kitchen oil (one sachet per about 0.6 litres, as the pack states).
